I genuinely really did like this book and really enjoyed reading it! It was gripping, heartbreaking and heartwarming too! I loved all of the characters, they were really well developed and I could connect with a lot of them. The descriptions in this book are simply divine and I found it really easy to imagine myself back in that period of time. As a historical fiction reader, this was the perfect book for me and as I said the detail and description in this book made it very easy to imagine the period and also the characters.
I also loved the family aspect of the book and this made it very heartwarming and heartbreaking at times. If you like to read historical fiction and family sagas then this would be the perfect book for you!
