I wouldn’t usually read this genre however I found it very easy to read and really enjoyed it. Nessie was a very likeable character as was Reuben, Marcie less so although as the story progresses you could empathasise eventually. The story flowed very well, you can tell the author is very experienced in this genre and it had clearly been well edited. I thought most elements of the story were well thought out, the only one that didn’t sit right with me was the identity of the murderer, somehow it didn’t feel as though they had the right person (although I don’t want to say more for fear of spoiling the storyline) Overall though this is a solid, well written book which can be easily enjoyed irrespective of whether you would usually read this style.
