Not quite sure about who the various characters, times and places in the first 28 pages link together. Also I prefer a bit more recognisable structure to both the plot and the writing - the stream of consciousness writing is too confusing when the reader doesn’t understand the setting. I need to read more before it, hopefully, all becomes clear.
