I'm a sucker for historical fiction, usually I am partial to one surrounding World War 2 or North Korea etc., very escapist in nature, however, after reading a book recently which had links to the Cold War, I have become more interested. I like the idea of being eased in gently into history by reading a few fictional book set in this time - painting a picture, and then taking the time to learn or read about the actual history.
