Absolutely love anything set in the 1940s and 1850s. The fact that it is about the cold war is also a bonus as I am fascinated by that topic, having had family closely affected by it. The book cover led me to believe that it wouldn't be the kind of book I'd usually enjoy, but I was very wrong!
