For me, I think this book jumped about from character to character too quickly. This made it confusing as the characters hadn’t been established or developed yet and I found myself trying to work out who they were and how they were connected which meant I lost the thread of the story.
I’m not sure what was even going on in the story as it seemed very bitty and jumped across different time periods.
Maybe it becomes clearer if you read more of the book.
