I was drawn to the cover - very dramatic using the black and white theme and a splash of yellow. It is not the usual type of book I would choose but I after reading the cover and excerpt I was intrigued.
I found this quite hard to get into at first but stuck with it and I'm now wanting to know the rest of the story. I'm interested to see how the relationships develop and how the author, Stuart Evers covers the events that span the decades of the book.
