Firstly, the cover of this book is beautiful, although that may not perfectly translate the nature of the book. This mystery has an intriguing blurb and already in the opening chapters there is an surrounding sense of atmosphere achieved by an amazing writing style. I want to read to more because it appears to echo a modern day Daphne du Maurier novel, which I couldn't turn down.
