This sounds like a gentle, touching story about overcoming disappointment, betrayal even, in your personal life and trying to make a new start. I can see a stationery shop being an interesting setting, a place where people come to buy items to communicate with others, perhaps say things in writing they can't say in person. Having said that, I think the story might be a bit too sentimental for me.
