The cover is vibrant and appealing with the keyhole drawing the eye. What's through the keyhole? Let's get that door open and delve right in. I was totally hooked after reading the sample pages. The writing is beautifully evocative with every carefully chosen word conjuring up pictures and memories as I read. Jo in her best friend's vintage dungarees sitting behind the old-fashioned counter in the cubbyhole of her absent Uncle's stationery shop searching for her sliver of sky. I'm desperate to know what happens next, the back stories and whether the short stout lady winking behind the tall, gangly 'dentist' is the 'other woman' whose door was left ajar in the prologue.
