Doesn't give much away
The first impression of this book doesn't give much away. It's only the first 16 pages and gives you just enough to introduce the main character and set up her situation, worries and fears. She meets a lady in the shop who I feel may come back into the story later but you really don't know.
The writing style was a bit confusing at times it didn't flow as well as some other books I've read, but I do like the main character Jo, you care for her quickly and want her to be alright.
