The cover is attractive but unremarkable other than it is in a similar style to Sally Page’s previous book, The Keeper of Stories.
I’m not really sure what the purpose of the prologue is (or many prologues nowadays, to be honest).
The prose is easy to read and thoughtful for those readers who like this sort of book. A welcome change from police procedurals and psychological thrillers for me.
