The Book of Beginnings was a huge warm hug in a book. Getting me ready for the autumn and winter season. Jo moves to London to look after her Uncle's stationary shop due to him going into hospital. She is running away from a fresh breakup and a friendship that doesn't seem to be what it was.

Jo finds that this new beginning opens her mind and heart to the possibilities that friendship brings through the new people she meets through the stationary shop.

As a stationary lover this really gave me good vibes, the descriptions of the shop and the stationary, along with the customers really took me back to my childhood browsing my local book / stationary shop.

The relationships that Jo makes are realistic and sweet, making for a real feel good read. A perfect antidote to the daily news and current affairs providing confirmation that at the heart of it, people are good.

Loved it. Thanks to Readers First for a copy in exchange for an honest review.
