I absolutely LOVED this book. It was exactly what I wanted to read in this moment.
I read Sally Pages' first book, The Keeper of Stories a couple of weeks ago; so when I saw there was an opportunity to win an advanced copy of The Book of Beginnings I just knew I had to try.
Sally Pages' books are both easy reads, but also gripping. I could not put this down! I absolutely love the small town feel we get from her stories. They are cosy, feel good and heart-warming.
From the very first page, I knew I would love this book. The character development, how we get to know each character through the eyes of Jo and their daily encounters. This entire book just filled me with joy; although sad in places, I loved this book from start to finish.
I will definitely be reccomending this, as well as The Keeper of Stories, to anyone and everyone for that cosy reading vibe!
Can't wait to see what Sally Page comes out with next!
