I'm becoming quite the fan of Sally Page. I loved her first book and this, her second (The Book of Beginnings) also didn't disappoint.

This is ultimately a book about friendship. It's about old friends who lose their way and look to reconnect, and new friends who meet unexpectedly and provide a shoulder to cry on.

I really enjoyed meeting Jo and getting to know her family and friends, I felt like I really knew and understood them too (always the sign of a well written tale).

This is the perfect, warm hug of a book. Ideal for a comforting read, to uplift your mood and remind you to check in with your friends. If you like the uplit genre as much as I do, then this will be right up your street.

Special mention has to be given to the front cover too, which is just lovely and drew me in straightaway.

This is going to be perfect Christmas time reading, so enjoy some downtime and get reading!
