I loved the beginning excerpt of this book and desperately wanted to continue reading and experience the story as it unfolds.

Sally Page has a wonderfully descriptive way of bringing her characters to life and you are instantly invested in Jo's story. I want to browse the shelves and fill a paper bag full of new pens and notebooks. I'd love to know why Jo is carrying around a broken heart, what happened between her and James and does her best friend Lucy have anything to do with it? I feel I could help her over a cup of tea and a chat in the small flat above the shop.
Will Uncle Wilber come back to run the shop? I wonder if, over time, she gets involved in the lives of the customers who frequent the shop.
I would certainly read other publications from this author.
