I absolutely loved this book it flowed really well and I found it hard to put down.
Jo ends up looking after her Uncles stationary shop in London after he is taken ill. This comes after she has just come out of a messy relationship and she has also disconnected from her best friend, Lucy.
Jo starts a new life and meets lots of new friends who help her start afresh. She also starts to imagine what people's lives are after they visit the shop. After getting people to try out the fountain pens she starts to put messages and thoughts up on her notice board which starts to take on a life of its own.
The neighbours in the other shops are there to help her settle in especially The Viking, and she forms a bond with a runaway Vicar, Ruth and Malcom and they all form a group investigating headstones at the cemetery and start to develop stories of all the people that are there.
