I am a huge fan of Sally Page. I reviewed and loved her first book and this, her second The Book of Beginnings didn't disappoint!
This is a book about friendship but Sally explores the topic in a lovely way in her style of writing. The story involves friends who have a chance to to reconnect, with new friends who meet unplanned and they provide support.
I loved meeting the character Jo and characters that are her family and friends, I felt like I really knew them and as the characters were written about so well by Sally.
This is the perfect, warm hug of a book. Ideal for a comforting read, to uplift your mood and remind you to check in with your friends. If you like the uplit genre as much as I do, then this will be right up your street.
