I really enjoyed this book, it was escapism without being overly fluffy. The 3 main characters were likeable and it was heart-warming to see their friendship grow. Everyone had secrets and throughout the book you were drip-fed more information about them, which really felt like you were getting to know the characters. Seeing Jo's transformation from heart-broken woman in a strange place to feeling like she's worthy and not just 'average Jo' left you with a warm glow. I really liked Malcolm's book idea, and how the author made the ghosts of Highgate Cemetery relevant to the characters' stories today was inspired. The final page gave me goosebumps and ensured all endings were tied up nicely. If only real life could be as heart-warming as this book, it's a real comfort read and I really cared about the characters and what happened to them.
