I absolutely loved this book about Jo Sorsby, who is running from her past in the north east and agrees to run her Uncle's stationery shop in London temporarily. Here she encounters various characters who come in to the shop but also two people who become very special friends and are also hiding their own secrets.
Suddenly she realises she's not alone and together they form an unforgettable bond that leaves Jo with a dilemma. Does she stay in London and pursue her new life or go back home to her family?
This is such a delightful, heart warming read with characters you will fall in love with. It's the perfect autumn read (look at that cover!) and one to cosy up with. I didn't want this book to end! It would also make an excellent present for a book lover and I am going to read the author's other book which my friend just happens to be reading!
