I always love books set in countries other than my own, they really transport you to a different place. Books set in Greece are a particular favourite of mine. I have been left desperately wanting to find out what happens to the family. Can Tasso and Irini forgive themselves? When reading the first impression I was particularly struck by the beautiful illustrations at the start of each chapter, they really help to tie everything together and give the book a special touch.
