Having previously enjoyed Lefteri's previous books, especially Songbirds, I am excited to read The Book of Fire. Lefteri is very good at writing touching stories about families overcoming incredibly difficult circumstances with love and hope at the heart of them. This book looks to be no exception and I can't wait to see where the story takes Irini, Tasso and Chara who are instantly endearing characters.
