This book is a fantasy literature story. The author skilful storytelling and imaginative building had me hooked from start to finish. All the characters in the book had their own unique personalities. I was interested in all the journeys and some characters were relatable as they grow through out the story. This book is about a family that was caught up in a wildfire that not only destroyed their home, but the forest all around them. There was an unexpected twist in the book, and I like how the piece of the story was done, wonderfully as it kept me at the edge of my seat, and eager to uncover what will happen next. The author was great at seamlessly, blending, the high stake adventure with moments of heartfelt emotion. I love how there is a vivid and rich description of the magical world. The details painted a picture in my mind. This book is great for people that love fantasy and an immersive world.
