Being a nurse I always find books about a life limiting illness intriguing, I want to see whether I can relate, to see whether the author has ‘nailed’ it. Every person handles and life changing diagnosis their own way and I am curious to see how the protagonist in this novel manages this, especially with the use of running, as I am sure for a lot of my patients that’s the last thing they would want to do!
