Emotional but interesting first impression

I really like the cover, I like the bright colours and row of runners indicating the plot line. Josie Lloyd has captured Kiera's emotions brilliantly, going from the new year with friends and family to the devastation of a cancer diagnosis. There are some great characters developing and although the story has a sad theme I think it could be an uplifting read. A great start and I look forward to reading the rest.
