The plot builds up in emotion as the Keira's cancer diagnosis is confirmed and the added pressure of letting family, friends and work colleagues know. As I have recently gone through this process with my mother I find the story both difficult and comforting to read.
I am very optimistic that the story develops to give laughter with the tragedy.
