Life after a cancer diagnosis - a life affirming read.

Having heard that this book is informed by personal experience I was inspired to read the First Impression in the hope of a life-affirming read. I didn’t expect to ‘enjoy’ the opening as much as I did with its family anecdotes and warmed to the characters. But as the story progresses I know that things will get far tougher and after a recent family cancer diagnosis I am sure I will be able to relate to much of it.
