Serious subject matter, but uplifting
The first impression of this is that the front cover looks bright and vibrant, but with the word cancer in the title makes you think ‘urgh’ should I avoid this because it’s going to be an emotional read.
From the first impressions read, I’ve taken away that the book will be heartbreaking, heartwarming and uplifting and that even in sadness, good things can come.
I’ve seen this hook on Intsa a few times and it’s definitely something that I’d consider reading.
