Thank you to Readers First and the publisher for allowing me to read an advance copy of this book.
I really enjoyed it! It is a positive take on how the power of family and friendship can get you through the bad times.
When Keira is diagnosed with cancer, she is also struggling with work, a shop she owns and runs in conjunction with her business partner Lorna. She doesn’t want to admit that she has cancer and doesn’t want her life to change because of it. As she accepts that she can’t control her health, she joins The Cancer Ladies’ Running Club and this gives her the hope she needs for the future.
This is the first book I’ve read by this author and I will be on the look out for more. It was a real page turner, and I found myself thinking about Keira at times when I wasn’t able to read about her ( always a sign of a good book!)
A definite 5 star review from me, one to be recommended
