I read the first synopsis of this and knew this would be a hard book to read. No one wants to know about the ‘ c’ word. The news that it’s you must be devastating. I did start to read the first chapter of this and was completely hooked. It sends out message of hope and bravery of love and kindness and a will to survive. I loved this book and went on to buy it and pass it around my friends and they all came back with the same view that it was heartwarming tearful and full of hope. The characters were strong sensitive funny and just amazing and the certain chapters just stood out. I loved the way they all stood together and gave each other the hope that they would go on. If I had to read one book this year I know that this would be it. Tearful and smiling I loved it and it made me feel so very humble but so glad that I had the chance to read such a well written book on a very difficult subject.
