I have not read the book yet but just going on first impressions alone, this book seems to be wonderful and I assume it’s both uplifting and so heartbreaking! I have high hopes that this book will portray the realities of battling with cancer, specifically breast cancer. From the first impression, the character of Keira seems so sympathetic and I love how so much of the emotional depth is offset with humour and the plot of the running too! I can imagine a lot of laugh out loud moments throughout the story but also a lot of emotional moments of reflection also. I think it sounds very different to the typical story where the protagonist has an illness such as cancer so I think this take will be refreshing and I am very excited to read this novel very soon as all the reviews so far seem to be overwhelmingly positive about it! It sounds right up my alley!
