I was so excited about this book when it first came out, as I’ve already read some of her books and they were all amazing. First of all, I must say a few words about the writing style. It was so good! It’s quite simple, so it is easy to read the book, but at the same time it’s somehow deep and touching, which made me cry a few times. The plot is very unusual, and I was fascinated by it. This is a book about a woman, who finds out about her cancer. She extremely doesn’t want to tell anyone about it. So this is indeed not a cancer book, but a book about a life of a person with cancer. Because Keira, the main character, is not only defined by her illness.
I also really loved the romantic line there, and how it was integrated into the story. It was just so beautiful! Although the book made me cry quite a few times, I felt uplifted and happy for the characters almost all the time! Would defenitely recommend it.
