I am blow away by this book. Keira is called back to the hospital after a mammogram thinking it is something minor. Unfortunately she is told that she has breast cancer and will need a mastectomy. Whilst she is waiting for her appointment, she meets a woman in the park who tells her that she is there running most mornings and to join her. This leads to the formation of the Cancer Ladies Running Club. In between times, at the business that she has successfully built up, her business partner, Lorna, has decided that her partner should join the business as finance director as he is a loose end after leaving his city job. Changes keep happening every time she goes to work, but Lorna makes out that Keira isn't on the ball because of the cancer.
