Oh my god. So moving and heartwarming and just over all so real. This is such an unbelieveably down to earth book whilst retaining a sort of magical quality to it, mostly about the characters. When Kiera first gets her diagnosis she did not expect to join a running club with a bunch of other ladies with similar stories (because whose first thought would that really be) yet this club becomes such an important part of her life as the book progresses. I think it is a beautiful idea and is something that shows the inate goodness of humans. Kiera is such an unstandable character as most could attest that the last thing you would want in her place is to sit around staring at the walls all day waiting for your potential death. This is a beautiful tale of woman trying to reclaim what life took from her. and most importantly, not lose herself in the process.
