I don’t think a book has ever put me through the gamut of emotions that this one has, from giggling at some of the things that were happening to wanting to cry about how brave the women were to keep on going and because of how things went with Tamsin, there was also anger at the way Keira was being treated about her own shop.
The characters are all written so well, each with their own story to tell but ones that bought them all together, I think you could tell it was by someone that had gone through it all themselves, I don’t think it would have been so well written if it wasn’t for that.
The Cancer Ladies running club started just as two people talking, the newly diagnosed Keira and Tamsin who knew what was in store for her, they start running together with Tamsin edging on Keira to help her keep going, the group starts to grow and a support group is born through friendship.
A wonderful book and would recommend it.
