Wow! This has to be the best book I have read so far this year, I absolutely loved it. I laughed, I cried and I became angry. It opened my eyes to cancer - I loved the lead character and genuinely connected with her in the sense that I felt she was an older version of me. Some of the things she said, I say now! It came as no surprise that when I read the author's notes, she said that she had fought cancer in 2017 and this book his based on her experience as it was so real!!!
I feel that she managed to teach me things I didnt know about cancer, a really serious subject, in a really lighthearted way. More than once I was laughing puf loud... knitted knockers and stump really got me.
Honestly, if you only read one book this year, pick this!!! It is such a quick and easy read, mainly because you won't want to put it down once you start it. I know I couldn't put down.
