This is the first novel I have read by Josie Lloyd.
Keira is diagnosed with breast cancer. After the shock of her diagnosis she joins a running club with other women also with breast cancer. Random is the instigator of the club.I really enjoyed this part of the story but the the thread of the story about her shop was less enjoyable.
It was obvious that Lauren and Pierre were up to no.good and taking advantage of her. The story would have been much better without this.
I know this is based on Moses experience of breast cancer and this shows. The way Keiras husband and children deal with her diagnosis is well done.
By the end of the book I was rooting for all the ladies . I closed the book with tears in my eyes. I felt like I knew these characters and would have liked them as friends.
This is an uplifting book despite the subject and is full of hope. Highly recommended.
