This book was decent enough and it did really show people what it's like dealing with cancer we can see the author draw on from her own experiences, the book for me did really hit hard as my did have breast cancer and I know people who have gone through it or passed away from it. It gave me an insight into how them people felt and the ups and downs they have. It is hard to get your life back on track and not be defined by the big C word. It certainly shines light on cancer but I think it could have expanded that a bit and shown a lot more it kind of like looked down on other diseases too. But all in all its a good book and it shows the importance of having a support group beside you when you are going through something so difficult that only certain people can understand. The ending was quite sad but predictable as even with the mention of the C word there's only gonna be 2 different ways it can go.
