This book was extremely heartwarming. I actually began reading this book because I was planning on losing weight and needed some inspiration. Though it isn't based on a true story, something about Keira is so inspiring. Of course since it's a book about illness, you can expect to cry. As soon as she gets the diagnosis, it's like everything is falling apart! I can't stand her husband Tom and almost wish he wasn't a character with how apathetic he acts. I think the part which really got me was how her children didn't totally understand what the diagnosis meant. As a younger woman, such an illness could be especially hard, and it really shows with how Keira seems to get tired and is upset with herself about it. However, this whole book wasn't sad! There is so much to this story than just an illness, and Keira's personality truly made the book worthwhile. She is so hardworking and it's hard not to fall in love with this book.
