This is a fantastic read, the story follows Kiera and her seemingly perfect life in the opening chapters. Husband, kids, house, good job. Her world co.es abruptly and brutally crashing down when she learns her diagnosis of breast cancer.

Once dealt her devastating blow, everything else seems to crumble around Kiera. People are treating her differently, her husband seems distant, things are not going well in her job. The only ray of sunshine she seems to be receiving is the group of ladies who also have had/have cancer and they do something Kiera could never see her self doing; they run!

Some of the characters are extremely horrible! Kiera is a brilliant character and you feel empathy throughout. I found it difficult to read at times, not because of the writing but because it's so sadly a reality for people

I loved the author's note at the end and it really finishes the book off quite brilliantly. It leaves you with a message of hope and makes you realise that even in the darkest times, people can provide light by kindness.
Thank you so much for the opportunity to read this book prior to its publication.
