I won an advanced copy of this book from @readersfirst and I’m so glad I did!

Kiera is quite happy with her life, yes okay she didn’t travel the world like she might’ve hoped and she’s maybe not as thin as she’d like but all in all she’s happy with her lot. That is until a routine mammogram shows she has breast cancer. Totally blind sighted Kiera tries to come to terms with the news and the impact it has on those around her. But nobody really understands, until she forms a new group of friends who are all going through a similar experience and encourage each other to focus on something else; putting one foot in front of the other and running.

Even though this book is super emotional and focused around the big C word we have all had an experience of dealing with; whether directly or through loved ones, it is actually a really hopeful and uplifting read. I also really liked that the story wasn’t JUST focused around the cancer diagnosis and treatment but the impact that others around Kiera and their ongoing lives had on her.

I would 100% encourage you to buy this book when it is released in paperback on the 13th of May!!
