I've been reading Josie Lloyd books from as far back as I can remember and she is one of those authors who never disappoints , you are always guaranteed a good heart warming read which will leave you missing the characters when you finish.
Luckily I am in the fortunate position of not having lost someone close to cancer but I've many friends who have and have seen how it can affect so many lives and how friendship is vital during trying times .The power of friendship is at the heart of this novel . Cancer is never an easy subject to tackle but it's done so well in this book, it's happy, sad, heart warming, funny and also educational . It's also realistic as we follow her treatment whilst trying to maintain a family life which many people reading this will be able to relate to . I'm guessing if you're a sufferer, or have suffered then this will be more relatable however i'm recommending it to anyone who likes books about friendship.
