The Cancer Ladies' Running Club by Josie Lloyd.

I would have given this five stars if it had not been for the frequent use of "F's" and other language that I personally find offensive.

It's not that I can't see the need for authors to use these words, I just wish they would do it as F*** or S*** as I would still know the mood they are trying to conjure up if they really feel they must put them in.

Apart from that it was a very interesting story about a group of ladies who have breast cancer and how they supported each other and formed a lasting relationship. I was suprised at the figures being 1 in 2 people get cancer which certainly does make one think.

The story also revolves around a rather nice shop that Keira inherited from her father. She is told many lies and has to learn to be strong to get the better of those around her who are connected with the running of the business.

You will find you will need a tissue or two as it is very sad in places.

Being close to someone who has just had radiotherapy I can relate easily to this story.

It is well worth reading and good to remember the "Butterfly" to help us all in our every day concerns.
