Wow, I am speechless. This book was the perfect balance of deep and emotional, along with light hearted tropes throughout to give the book pick me ups. I loved how the author hasn't made this book only about cancer, but more so what life can be like for someone who is having to live with the illness. I found myself admiring the way Kiera deals with the news, changing her focus to something positive as suppose to changing her focus to dealing with cancer.

I personally see the found family trope within the book, which gave it a new sort of warmth I wish more books about this subject contained. The friendships within the book may even be my favourite part, however I did love everything about this book so it is hard to decide which theme in it was my favourite.

The writing style was another strong point for me. It was simple, but that just works here. At no point was I lost or needing to reread a part in order to understand so great if you want an easy book to chill out and read.

If you love a book that leaves you crying while also smiling throughout, I recommend this book! Another plus is how beautiful the colours of the cover are. All round 5 star that I know I'll be recommending to people around me.
