Using a style of writing reminiscent of Austen that seems to be meant to communicate yes these people are in the 18th centuary I didn't make it past the third page before deciding I would hate this. There is a fine line between setting and style this took the style of the centuary instead of just the setting and as a result provides a novel I have no desire to wrestle with.
