When reading the First Look, I was intrigued by this book, but wasn’t quite sure what the story was really about, but it had hooked me.
When I actually received it, I was stunned by its gorgeous cover, and the story continued to fascinate me.
It developed in a way that I didn’t expect, I really cared about the characters, particularly Nina and Collin, although at times it was still a little confusing, as it went from fantasy to reality, but I loved the fantasy land that was described, it was so believable.
There are some beautiful descriptions and wonderful language used. It is a far deeper and more thought provoking than I had originally assumed, raising challenging questions about addictions and obsessive behaviour.
