From the opening sentences, I could tell I was going to love this book. The 2 main characters we meet in these opening pages are real and relatable. The scene is set with some stunning descriptive writing. The tension builds, even though you know she finds something in the attic after reading the blurb. There are obviously going to be twists and turns along the way and I hope the main character has the stability of her friend for support. Or is he somehow involved in the lie? I feel like it's going to be one of those books where you can't trust anything or anyone until the very last page. I can't wait to read more.
