The pure fact that a parent would allow a child to believe one of them was deceased is in itself beyond belief, to read more and understand the reasons behind the mystery would keep my interest to the end of the book. Often there is much more going on in family life that sometimes needs to be kept quiet, but often results in such emotional heartache makes you wonder if its all worth it to keep secrets?
