Saffron’s story opens with a mammoth secret reveal, it’s just not revealed to the reader and this kind of suspenseful secret draws you in. I am intrigued about what her father has hidden and her younger childhood sounds tragic and sad. Tom, saffron’s friend seems a good buddy but I think I might spy a bit more there and I’m excited to find that out.
