Although it was refreshing that the story was thrown in straight away of what will be focused on, I feel like near the end of the chapter when it focused on Tom it got a bit off topic.
I do like the fact they mentioned him and I have a strong inkling he'll be a blossoming romance for her as she goes through all of the drama of figuring out what happened to her mother and why her father decided to lie about her existence in the world for so long.
Although this starts as looking for reasons why her father lied and her mother is not around, already I feel like this story will lead to self-reflection and self-discovery of of who she is and the differences between who she wants to be in comparison to who her parents were to her. Because Tom was described as Peter pan I have a feeling he may be a representation of her childhood and innocence breaking now she knows the truth.
